Ich musste mir die Zahl auch zweimal vor Augen führen - aber 'Skyfall' verdient auch nur das Beste! Für mich ist er der beste 'Bond'-Film bis jetzt!

Ja bist du gelähmt, über 300.000, also ich kann mich nicht erinnern dass ein Film so grandios gestartet ist, außer vielleicht Titanic 1997. Man stelle sich vor es wäre das Wochenende verregnet gewesen, dann wären die Nachmittagsvorstellungen auch voll gewesen. Die 300.000 schafft nicht mal der Hobbit am Startwochenende.

Edit. Eintritt war aber 9,50 in Ö, dürften also nicht ganz 300.000 gewesen sein.

After a very strong start overseas last weekend, Skyfall expanded its reach to nearly every foreign market and scored an unbelievable $156 million. The 23rd James Bond movie has already earned $287 million, which makes it the third-highest-grossing Bond movie ever behind Daniel Craig's previous two entries, and its well on its way to setting a new franchise record.

Its top market was once again 007's native U.K., where the movie eased 21 percent to $25.7 million. That brings its total to $85.8 million, which puts it a day or two away from passing The Dark Knight Rises to become the highest-grossing movie of the year there.

Across nearly all of its new territories, Skyfall opened noticeably higher than Quantum of Solace and Casino Royale. The movie was strongest in Europe where the All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day holidays gave audiences plenty of time to get out to theaters. In Germany, the movie debuted to $23.9 million, which is up 77 percent on Quantum of Solace's opening. It also tallied $7.9 million in Italy (the biggest Hollywood debut of the year), $6.7 million in Spain (second on the year behind The Impossible), $5.3 million in Switzerland (a new record), $4.4 million in the Netherlands (first place in 2012) and $3.4 million in Austria (double 2012's previous record holder).

Elsewhere, Skyfall's $5.1 million in India made it the second-biggest Hollywood movie of the year there. It also had huge debuts in Indonesia ($2.5 million), Malaysia ($2.5 million), Taiwan ($2.5 million), the Philippines ($1.9 million) and Thailand ($1.8 million). It has a less impressive start in Mexico ($3.2 million), though that was still up on Quantum and Casino Royale.

Skyfall also overperformed in a number of holdover markets. The movie added $14.3 million in France, and was only off 20 percent from the Friday to Sunday period. It also grossed $5.2 million in Russia, while it was down just 5 percent to $3.4 million in Brazil. In general, it appears to be hanging on much better than typical tentpole fare.

While it's out in most areas now, it still has China, Australia, Japan and Turkey on the way, and it should have no trouble obliterating Casino Royale's $427 million overseas total, which is currently the franchise record. In fact, $500 million appears to be a foregone conclusion at this point.

IMAX contributed $4.3 million this weekend for an early total of $10 million; Skyfall opens exclusively in that format on Thursday in the U.S. before expanding in to around 3,500 total locations on Friday

Insidekino hat seine Prognose für das US-Einspiel von Skyfall nach all den Rekorden deutlich nach oben korrigiert: 300 Millionen!

So sehr ich mir dieses Einspiel wünsche, denke ich doch, dass das dann etwas zu hoch gegriffen ist. Mit enem solchen Einspiel wären auch weltweite 900 Milliionen drin. Wir werden sehen. Es bleibt spannend.

Wenn ich es richtig lese steht da: Spielzeit ist immer DO-SO, frühere Zahlen (Previews etc.) werden nicht berücksichtigt. Da Bond bereits am MI einiges eingenommen hat - und das dann wegfällt - ist ihnen kein Fehler unterlaufen.

Mal sehen wie es in den USA läuft, dieses Wochenende war ja "Ralph Reicht's" angelaufen und das sehr erfolgreich. Naja Bond ist eine andere Zeilgruppe... hoffen wir das beste für Bond in den USA.

Ob wir in ein paar Wochen darüber reden werden, dass der TB-Rekord gefährdet ist?

Werden wir nicht, TB hat inflationsbereinigt über 1 Milliarde eingebracht. Das wird Skyfal nicht schaffen. Muss er auch nicht, einRekordergebnis wird es allemal. Und mit der Bonditis der 60er Jahre kann man die heutige Zeit auch nicht mehr vergleichen. Das war Ausnahmezustand.

Damals hatte man aber auch viel weniger Alternativen für die Freizeitgestaltung. Und damals wusste man daß man die Filme erst mal nur im Kino sehen kann, und dann lange gar nicht mehr.

Heute wartet ein Teil auf die Verleih- oder die Kauf DVD, und letztere ist schon nach 6 Monaten erhältlich. Die Verleih- und die Verkaufszahlen von VHS, DVD, Blu wären auch mal ganz interessant.
